Two Pros, 52 Years Between Them
Each host brings 26 years behind the chair. The shop talk portion is your chance to ask the hair and scalp questions you have been sitting on, in a room where nobody is rushing you.
Andria Turner
Senior Licensed Cosmetologist & Holistic Trichologist
Founder of Natural Touch Hair Studio, where she helps women get to the why behind hair loss, thinning, and scalp concerns rather than treating symptoms alone.
Regina Jackson
Licensed Cosmetologist
Co-hosted the weekend and led part of the shop talk, bringing the same hands-on chair experience to the conversation.
Come for the Canvas, Stay for the Conversation
Paint Your Crown is part paint party, part honest shop talk. You settle in with a drink, pick up a pre-drawn tote bag or makeup bag, and paint at your own pace while the room fills with conversation.
Partway through, Andria and Regina open the floor on three hair and scalp topics. No slide deck and no sales pitch, just two licensed professionals answering the questions women actually ask in the chair, from thinning edges to what a healthy scalp routine really looks like.
Vendors set up so you can shop while you are there, and everyone leaves with a gift bag and a hair and scalp guide. No painting experience is required, and no one is grading your work.
Good to Know
- Doors open ahead of the 1:30 PM start, and guests arrive 10 minutes early so the day can begin on time.
- Saturday and Sunday run the same format, so you pick whichever day works for you.
- Both 2026 days sold out. The events page has what is coming next.
- Ages 12 and up are welcome, and every guest needs their own ticket.
- All painting supplies are provided. Wear something you would not mind getting paint on.
Hosted in our Upper Marlboro studio, the same space available for workshops and private events.
Event Questions
What is Paint Your Crown: Sip, Paint & Shop Talk?
Paint Your Crown is a two-day sip and paint experience hosted at Natural Touch Hair Studio in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Guests paint a pre-drawn tote bag or makeup bag, sip wine or infused water, shop from on-site vendors, and join an open conversation about three hair and scalp topics led by two licensed professionals with 26 years of experience each.

Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 1:30 PM both days, held at Natural Touch Hair Studio, 9560 Marlboro Pike, Suite 105, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772, in Prince George's County. Both days have now run and both sold out.
Will Paint Your Crown happen again?
Yes. Paint Your Crown will be hosted again next year at Natural Touch Hair Studio in Upper Marlboro. Dates are not set yet. The event mailing list hears first, and both days sold out last time from that list and a flyer.

The Mimosa & Maintenance Hair Care Workshop on Sunday, November 8, 2026, covering how to maintain your hairstyle at night, with two time slots and tickets on sale now. A professional networking event in December. Sip Your Tea & Get the Tea in January, on wellness, hair and scalp health. The December and January dates are being confirmed.
Do I need any painting experience?
No experience needed. The tote bags and makeup bags come pre-drawn, so you are filling in a design rather than starting from a blank surface. All supplies are provided.
What was included with a ticket?
A pre-drawn tote bag or makeup bag to paint, wine and infused water, a gift bag, hair and scalp guide giveaways, access to on-site vendors, and a guided shop talk covering three hair and scalp topics.
Can I bring my daughter or a younger guest?
Ages 12 and up are welcome. Each guest needs their own ticket so there is a painting kit and a seat reserved for them.
Can I book a hair or scalp appointment at the event?
Paint Your Crown is a social and educational experience rather than a service day, though Andria is on hand to answer questions in person. To book a consultation for hair loss, scalp care, extensions, or a head spa treatment, call (301) 535-7542 or book online.
